Firstly, a big thank you to all those teams who have entered the fifth JEMEC 3 wood pairs competition this weekend, proudly hosted by St Saviour Bowls Club. Entries closed with twenty-four pairs competing to be crowned the 2022 Champions.

Sixteen teams will kick off the tournament on our new artificial surface at 10:00 am on Saturday 13th August, with the other eight entries receiving a bye into the next round which starts at 1:00 pm. All first and second-round losers will then play in the plate first-round at 4:00 pm. That will conclude the play for day 1.

Sunday play will commence at 10:00 am with the quarterfinals of both the main and plate competitions being played side-by-side. Winners of all games proceed to the semifinals which will kick off at 1:00 pm, and the finals at 4:00 pm.

The presentation of the JEMEC trophy and the BISSON plate will be made on completion of the finals, together with prize monies which once again have been most generously sponsored by Charles and Erica Tennant of JEMEC Automotive Limited.

There shall be catering with various sandwiches available at lunchtime on both Saturday and Sunday from the kitchen (please pre-order in the morning) as well as bacon rolls first thing. For your afternoon tea, there will be some freshly baked cakes. The bar will be open during permitted opening hours.
