Northern BC Edinburgh - 2022

Wednesday 27th April and our first competitive match on our new green. Northern Bowling Club, one of 50 clubs from Edinburgh, chose Jersey for their pre-season tour. With a chilly wind blowing, conditions suited the visitors, but some fine bowling still prevailed. In a close match, the visitors came out on top, winning 3 of the 5 rinks and winning by a narrow 5 shots. Well done to Ladies’ Captain, Olive Crowhurst and Gina Le Long for winning their rinks. After, the teams retired to the clubhouse for some much-needed warming refreshments!!!
